Just wanted to let you know how much I love your blog. It's SO GREAT to follow a fan that was a kid when this movie was released. Batman 1989 is one of my favorite films of all-time. I was in my early-twenties in 89 so my perspective on that time was a bit different than yours. I was a huge Batman fan and was skeptical about this film. It blew me away, though, and I look back on that summer with much happiness and nostalgia. I kind of think back on this movie as the last movie of my "childhood," so to speak. I was about 22 but this was the last movie I can remember enjoying all the merchandising and build-up hype with such a great sense of wonder. I couldn't get enough Batman that summer and it's just kind of carried on for the last 20+ years. So, it's very fun to see your excitement for all-things Batman 89 and how you are carrying that over with your kids.
Anyway, I love the blog and just wanted to say, "Keep it up!" :)

Thanks so much Brian! I really appreciate that... I am also a big fan of your "Under the Giant Penny" blog (we have a mutual friend in Chunky B)!
