This brief update from the June 1989 issue of "Playthings" magazine offers an industry forecast for the then-upcoming Batman movie tie-in toys from Toy Biz (and other manufacturers). Of course we all now know that the "top excitement" predicted here did come true... but what is up with no mention of Bob the Goon?!?
